New Seabury / Popponesset Beach is a "No Compromise" Area on Cape Cod and our homes are "Limited Edition" fully updated Cape Cod classics.
The Beach
Take an easy foot stroll to our Private Beach or load up the beach wagon with our complimentary beach chairs, umbrellas, and more to spend the day having fun in the sun.
Our private beach boasts a direct oceanfront beach with calm waters during the summer months.
The Cape Cod coastline is in constant change and water shoes are suggested at all of our beaches. As an example, Summer 2019 storms deposited rocks at the Maushop Beach waterline. Maushop Beach gets nourished (dozens of truckloads of clean beach sand delivered and spread) each Spring.
Dining and Nightlife
Walk 10 minutes through the village to New Seabury’s Clubhouse Restaurant. A great choice for fine dining with breathtaking views of the golf course, Atlantic Ocean and Martha’s Vineyard.
The Popponesset Inn and the Lure Raw Bar are wonderful choices for waterfront dining, light bites and cocktails.
A 5-minute drive into Mashpee Commons or 15 minutes into downtown Falmouth opens up dozens of outstanding dining opportunities. See the Links Tab.
Golf, Tennis and Other Sports
Though New Seabury golf courses are private, The Cape Club, only 11 miles away, is "one of the best public courses in New England", according to Golf Advisor.
Mashpee Middle and High Schools have ample tennis courts available.
Additionally, guests staying in our Uncle Henry's property have access to the Popponesset Community Center with daily activities, a baseball field, a basketball court, and a playground.
Shopping
Take a short 5-minute drive to upscale Mashpee Commons featuring 90+ shops, a movie theater, concerts, family entertainment and restaurants, nightlife, and the Boch Performing Arts Center.
The Cape Cod Children’s Museum is also a 5-minute drive away.
Activities
The quaint and always-hopping Popponesset Marketplace for shopping, food, mini golf, children’s activities and live outdoor music.
Dance with the family under the stars all night long at the Marketplace to live outdoor music nightly (Thur-Sun).
Bike & Hike
The bike and walking trail is located steps outside our door.
Enjoy the manicured, blooming flowers as you wind your way through fabulous vistas, forests, golf courses and breathtaking ocean views that dot the Cape Cod landscape.
Martha’s Vineyard is a leisurely bike ride and ferry away.
Bring Your Boat
New Seabury Marina permits boats up to 39’ feet.
